November’s “free” games with Amazon Prime Gaming are now available

News Summary:

  • In terms of name recognition, Fallout: New Vegas is clearly the big seller. The popular RPG, developed by Obsidian Entertainment, was originally released in 2010 for consoles and PC. New Vegas improved on the gameplay systems introduced in Fallout 3 and offered greater mission variety. With a huge open world and an extensive collection of side missions, New Vegas was still exciting even after completing the main campaign. While it understandably feels dated today, New Vegas is well worth playing or replaying for the first time. The Ultimate Edition also includes a number of bonus contents, so you can end up sinking more than 100 hours into New Vegas.

  • Amazon Prime members currently have seven free games up for grabs. The Prime Gaming offer for November 2022 includes Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition, WRC 9, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Facility 47, Etherborn, Whispering Willows, and Last Day of June. As usual, subscribers can also grab loot for popular games like Apex Legends, Pokemon Go, and Grand Theft Auto Online.

WRC 9 isn’t the latest game in the rally racing series, but for all racing fans who haven’t played it yet, it might be a good opportunity to give it a try. WRC offers authentic off-road racing mechanics, numerous cars and tracks, and numerous solo and multiplayer game modes.

Prime Gaming also almost always gives away some lesser-known indie games that usually receive positive reviews. Etherborn is an environmental puzzle platformer; Last Day of June is an interactive adventure with an emotional story about love; Whispering Willows is a horror puzzle game that follows Elena’s search for her father; and Facility 47 is a puzzle game set in a research facility in Antarctica.

Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade is just the latest in a growing line of classic LucasArts games that are free for Amazon Prime members. Originally released in 1989, the point-and-click adventure follows the plot of the movie of the same name and also introduces new locations.
