Nokia 9 PureView Leaked Images Goes Online Ahead Of February 24 Launch Date

Nokia 9 PureView is still a few days away from the official launch that will take place in Barcelona on February 24th. But before its launch, the next Nokia phone had been filtered by a few live images. The Penta lens camera settings of the new model also surfaced on one of the leaked online images. The Nokia 9 PureView would be the flagship product of the next generation of HMD Global. The phone should be on display at the MWC 2019 next to the Nokia 8.1 Plus and Nokia 1 Plus.

The newly created live images of the Nokia 9 PureView, courtesy of Nokia PowerUser, show both the shiny metal structure and rear panel and the layout of the Penta objective camera. The front panel of the leaky Nokia phone appears to have rounded edges. There is no display notch. It matches the previously disclosed renditions of the Nokia 9 PureView. In addition, the top and bottom edges of the smartphone are almost identical in thickness, although the top edge includes a selfie camera, a headset, and a range of sensors.

In the back, one of the images disclosed shows the five sensors of the camera, as well as a LED flash and a separate depth sensor, circular in shape. The back panel usually comes with a reflective finish – suggests the presence of a curved glass plate. It seems that the unit of the image has a cover on the back of the smartphone to retain the brand Zeiss and Android One entry.

Based on past rumors, the Nokia 9 PureView will feature a 5.99-inch QHD PureDisplay panel that supports HDR10 and a fingerprint sensor under the display. The smartphone can also include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. In addition, HMD Global should offer features such as wireless charging support and some enhanced camera modes made possible by light.

In addition to the Nokia 9 PureView, Feb. 24 event of HMD Global will likely bring together the Nokia 8.1 Plus and the Nokia 1 Plus. Although the Nokia 8.1 Plus was designed with a dual rear camera and a 6.22-inch screen, the Nokia 1 Plus as a new Android Go model could be launched by the company.

The arrival of new Nokia models later this month should make competition more difficult for the next generation of Samsung and Sony phones likely to appear on the MWC 2019.
